About the Role

Culmen International is seeking a Logistics and Operations Manager for a future Health and Human Services opportunity.

 

The Logistics and Operations Manager is a general operations and logistics position that will perform all logistics functions including transportation, travel, and housing.

What You’ll Do in Your New Role

  • Coordinate and manage the deployment of resources, personnel, and equipment necessary for the smooth operation of the care facility. This involves planning, scheduling, and executing staff deployment activities.
  • Coordinate and oversee the transportation of staff to and from the facility, ensuring timely and efficient movement. This includes arranging vehicles, scheduling routes, and addressing any transportation issues that arise.
  • Arrange and coordinate travel logistics for staff attending conferences, training sessions, and other off-site events. This involves booking flights, lodging, and ground transportation as needed.
  • Ensure suitable housing is available for staff members at the influx care facility. This may involve coordinating with local hotels, negotiating rates, and overseeing room assignments.
  • Monitor and manage logistics-related expenses within the allocated budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities, negotiate contracts, and implement efficient processes to optimize resources.
  • Lead a team responsible for logistics and operations tasks, providing guidance, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards in all logistics and operations activities. This includes maintaining accurate records, implementing safety protocols, and addressing any compliance issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
  • Minimum of (2) two years' experience working as a Travel Coordinator or a similar role.
  • Ability to operate successfully and independently with little to no direction in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of travel booking systems, online travel portals, and travel management tools.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule that could include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) preferred.
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License.
  • Possess a clear Tuberculosis test.
  • Ability to successfully clear a background check.
  • Ability to successfully clear a drug screening.
  • Provide immunization documentation for Tdap, Varicella, MMR, Hepatitis A and B, Varicella.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
